The Importance of Surface Sanitizer in Day Care

Thursday, April 2nd, 2009

A day care facility that does not practice good hygiene can become a haven for illness and disease to the children and staff, alike. Babies and toddlers are notorious for putting virtually every item that comes within their reach in their mouth. If your day care center does not properly sanitize its toys and furniture, you are indirectly assisting in the spread of infectious diseases such as the common cold and flu, head lice and diarrhea. Having a good surface sanitizer is your first line of defense when it comes to keeping your children and worker’s healthy. There are numerous products on the market that work well in removing bacteria and germs from surface areas. Many of these products disinfect on contact. You simply spray them on the surface and wipe off with a clean paper towel. Hand sanitizer is vital as well. Many great products available now do not even require water. Buying hand sanitizer dispensers and mounting them on the wall of each classroom is a great idea for making hand washing quick and convenient without the hassle of having to make numerous trips to the bathroom sink. голова болит секс голова болит секс

Activity Tables for Day Care Organization

Wednesday, April 1st, 2009

Organization is vital for running a smooth day care facility. Any time you have a large group of children in one place, things can become chaotic. Keeping things such as paper, glue, scissors, tape and other craft supplies in a designated spot can make a huge difference in determining rather your day runs smooth or falls apart. Activity tables are a great idea for keeping supplies handy, but out of the way. Many activity tables come with wooden table tops that can be lifted up so that supplies, such as paper and writing utensils can be stored inside. They come in a variety of sizes, ranging from toddler style, with only one individual chair and desk to larger work areas where multiple children can sit around one table. If your center is looking to add more games, some great activity tables on the market today are actually made with games built in. Toddlers love the playing with wooden beads, but they can be dangerous if swallowed. Activity tables with wire attachments that allow beads to slide up and down without coming off is a great concept that provides hours of play, but keep the children safe and the room tidy.
